Top bakery in Playa for me is Das Brod on 8th between 25th and 20th. Run by a nice German lady, they have a variety of breads and a plethora. There are several bakeries in town, but the only one I know well is on 10th Avenue near Calle 38 -- a long way from Playacar. Looking for reviews and recommendations on the best cake shops local to playa del Carmen, preferably somewhere that you can walk in and buy.
